Someday, Today

Finding meaning in all of life's adventures

Summer of Innocence

To everlasting summer nights
that bring back childhood innocence
Full of firefly lit skies
Living without consequence
With laughter filling our eyes
We transcend higher and higher
Wishing for these times
to last forever
But as August comes around
The lights begin to fade
And our high comes back down
Reminding us
that nothing lasts forever
Our innocence will wither
And our childhood will become echoes
We ache to remember

About Me

Just your normal millennial trying to make it in this world. I love going to new cities, eating new foods and meeting new people- but I usually prefer the company of my cats. I’m inviting you to come laugh, cry, travel and eat with me on the crazy ride we call adulthood.
